#Start2020well wellbeing & change workshop LEEDS

Wellbeing & Change Workshops – #START2020WELL

We’re just about to start a new decade, peoples! Now’s a great time to take stock of where we’re at, and how we’d like to be moving into the 2020’s.

Have you ever tried to implement personal change (for example weight-loss), and found that you haven’t been able to sustain it because you were just far too attached to old habits or because it is having a negative effect in other areas of your life that are also priority? Are you aware of how much investment you make on each area of your wellbeing at any given moment? Need to re-think your wellbeing strategically?

This workshop will change your perspective on wellbeing and will prepare you to conquer the beginning of 2020 with a brand new approach to self-care. You’re going to:

– walk away understanding the process and impact of personal change – particularly focusing on what happens when we don’t approach personal change holistically.

– be guided through a wellbeing self-assessment that looks at how satisfied you are in these areas of your life: emotional, psychological, physical, financial, spiritual, environmental, social and occupational. This snapshot of your wellbeing forms the best starting point for self-development.

–  enter 2020 confident about how to shape your personal development plans – plans that will not treat your wellbeing keys in isolation, but holistically.

Included as part of the workshop is a 1 hour coaching session worth a whopping £120! This coaching session could be conducted on the phone, via video conferencing or in person if the session takes place in London.

Join Naila Khan from Naila Life Coaching and Change specialist Claz Gomez from Touch of Clarity for a life-changing session where you will gain a personal understanding of your current wellbeing, reflect on the process of change concerning personal development, and gain confidence to take your personal development to the next level as you enter 2020.

Our first meet-up event will be held in the spectacular grounds of the London home of the Duke of Northumberland. Participants will spend 45 minutes finding inspiration from within the garden centre to design their dream garden followed by 30 minutes of telling everyone in the group about it.

Confidence Hike #1

The Confidence Hike: Burnham Beeches Geology Trail

Saturday 20th July 2019 @ 11:00amBurnham Beeches, Slough

£5.60

Our second meetup event will be held at the National Nature Reserve and Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) of Burnham Beeches. With 540 acres of ancient semi-natural woodland, participants will enjoy this breath of fresh air west of London amongst ancient pollarded beech and oak trees, wood pasture, coppice, heathland, mire and two ponds.

We’ll be tackling the Geology Trail starting and finishing at the Beeches Café. The hike is about 3 km long and takes about 1½ hours to complete. For many, 3 km may not be a hike at all, but for others the thought of walking 3 km is daunting and would be an accomplishment if completed! This meetup has been especially created for those people who’d take great pride in accomplishing such a hike!

We’ll be taking intermittent breaks along the way for some confidence boosting hints and tips to committing to a healthier lifestyle, as well as learning some geology!
